Lucio Pozzi made "Exrazio" with watercolors on paper, and it's really the kind of piece that makes you think about art-making as a process. The colors here are so fluid, like moss and earth tones all mingling together. You can see how the watercolors bleed and blend, creating these soft, organic shapes. It's not about precision but more about letting the medium do its thing, which makes the piece feel so alive. If you look closely, you will notice that no two marks are exactly the same, the way they run into one another, creating this sense of movement, like a breeze through a forest. Pozzi’s earlier works are more defined and structured, but later on, like here, he is more concerned with texture. Like Agnes Martin, there's this feeling of quiet contemplation, but with a bit more playfulness. To me, this piece embraces the beauty of imperfection and the endless possibilities of art.
