Hans Hinterreiter created "Opus 67 B" using a screen printing technique. I can imagine him in his studio, meticulously layering colors to create this dizzying geometric design. What was he thinking as he aligned each screen, pressing the ink through? It looks like a dance, doesn't it? The cool greens and blues curve and intersect, making me think about the way thoughts overlap and mingle in our minds. There's a real mathematical elegance to it, like a visual equation he's trying to solve. I think he's riffing on some universal forms, echoing the circles and spirals we see in nature. In his own way, he's playing with ideas and forms that have preoccupied artists and thinkers for centuries. Ultimately, it's a reminder that every artist joins an ongoing conversation. Each artwork is an invitation for us to think, feel, and see in new ways.
