What do you read into this work? Curator: It's that urgency, isn't it? I think Morin captures Paul's intellectual fervor. He's got that book, clearly important, but it's secondary to the idea he's trying to communicate, the one he’s pointing to, almost shouting! It's like he's saying, "Listen, this is vital!" Editor: That's a great point. I was so focused on his expression, but you're right, the gesture is key. It brings a dynamic feel to the piece. Curator: Exactly. He's not just a figure in a book, he’s alive, engaged. And it makes us, the viewers, want to engage too, doesn't it? Editor: Definitely. It gives you a lot to think about, even centuries later.
