Editor: So, this is Nicolas Ryckemans' "Saint Jude the Apostle." It's a print, quite striking in its contrast, and the way St. Jude is so engrossed in his book gives it a contemplative mood. What strikes you most about it? Curator: Well, first, I'm drawn to how Ryckemans uses light. It's almost theatrical, isn't it? Like a spotlight on Jude's face and hands. Makes you wonder what he's reading, what thoughts are swirling behind those eyes. Does it make you curious? Editor: Definitely. There's a story there. I guess it shows that even art from the past can still spark so much imagination in us now. Curator: Exactly! Art's like a time machine, isn't it? It connects us to different eras, different perspectives. Always teaching us something new, about then and about now.
