Here, we see Dadamaino's "Volume," a study in the interplay between positive and negative space. Two white, amoeba-like shapes float within a deep purple field, bounded by the work's rectangular edge. The contrast is stark and immediate. This work plays with semiotics, where the solid form and the void it creates are equally significant as signs.
