This is Darío de Regoyos y Valdés' business card, an invitation of sorts. It’s just a simple card with his name on it, but look closely. The ink isn’t uniformly black, there's a shimmer to it like it's catching the light, a certain darkness, depth and subtlety in the line. Like a painting, the process of creating this business card is not obscured. The script is elegant, but there’s a slight irregularity, the kind that makes it feel human. The ‘D’ in Darío, how it loops and curls, almost dancing on the paper. That single letter speaks volumes, it’s confident, yet playful, a reflection of the artist's spirit. It reminds me a little bit of Cy Twombly, how Twombly made his work look effortless and casual. This business card is more than just a name; it’s a whisper, an invitation to discover the artist’s world, a world full of feeling.
