This silver medal, created by Willem van Bylaer in 1622, commemorates the successful siege of Bergen op Zoom by Prince Maurice of Nassau, the commander of the Dutch forces in the Eighty Years' War. The medal depicts Prince Maurice on one side, in a bust portrait, with his coat of arms on the other. The inscription on the medal commemorates the event with the Latin phrases: "To the Glory of God, the Sole Honor" and "Maurice of Nassau, Count of Nassau." The medal is now part of the Rijksmuseum collection in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
