"Skitser af dyrekranier" (Sketches of Animal Skulls), a graphite drawing by Danish artist Niels Larsen Stevns, is a study of three animal skulls. The loose, gestural lines of the drawing capture the form and structure of the skulls, with the artist focusing on anatomical detail. Created between 1864 and 1941, this work offers a glimpse into Stevns' artistic practice and his interest in natural forms. The piece is currently housed at SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst.
