What stands out to you about this piece? Curator: I see a deliberate commentary on the means of production. The silkscreen process allows for the mass production of this image, yet the hand-drawn quality of the trees introduces a tension between the mechanical and the handmade. How does this duality speak to the commodification of nature, do you think? Editor: That's interesting. It hadn't occurred to me to see it as a commentary on mass production. I was just focused on the colors! I guess I see it differently now.
