Galliano Mazzon made this 'Fantasia magia n.5' without telling us when, but looking at it, I get a sense of someone working through color and form as a process. It's like he’s playing with shapes, seeing how they fit together, and letting the colors bounce off each other. The painting has this really flat surface, like he’s pushing the paint around to create these crisp, clean edges. The colors are bold – blues, purples, and a pop of red that feels so deliberate. The way he’s laid down the paint is so direct; it's almost like he's building a puzzle, piece by piece. Look how the shapes interact; the turquoise triangle playing off the white, the solid blue square sitting atop it all. I'm reminded a little of Sonia Delaunay, someone else who wasn’t afraid to mix colors and shapes in a really playful way. Mazzon invites us to find our own order in the chaos, to see the magic in the everyday.
