Editor: So, here we have Gordon House's "Red Matrices." I find its repetition quite mesmerizing, almost hypnotic. What do you make of the work? Curator: It's like a visual puzzle, isn’t it? I see echoes of ancient labyrinths mixed with a very modern, almost digital sensibility. It makes me wonder, were these pathways of red designed to trap us, or guide us? Editor: That’s a lovely thought. Curator: It feels almost primal. The starkness is softened by the handmade quality of the print. It gives it an interesting tension, don't you think? Editor: I agree. I hadn't considered the handmade aspect against the digital feel. Curator: House seems to be asking: can something be both chaotic and ordered, ancient and futuristic? Editor: It definitely gives me a lot to think about. Thanks!
