Curator: This is Terry Winters' "Field Note (21)", from the Tate Collections. What strikes you about it? Editor: It feels like a visual meditation, almost like the skeletal structure of a plant, delicate yet powerfully evocative. Curator: Winters often explores systems found in nature and science. He's interested in how forms can be both abstract and representational. Editor: Exactly. I see these twisting lines, and I imagine them as strands of DNA, or maybe the flow of energy through a stem. It's a beautiful rendering of organic form. Curator: His work invites us to find the hidden connections between the natural world and our own inner landscapes. Editor: Yes, a reminder of the underlying structures that shape our world. I leave this image with a sense of wonder.
