This untitled work was made by Verena Loewensberg, but when exactly, we don't know. What strikes me first is the smooth surface and how flat everything feels. It's like the colors were laid down meticulously, each shape perfectly defined. The red, yellow, blue, and green—they're so vibrant, so unapologetically themselves. The white circle becomes a space, a pause, or a question mark. Look closely, and you'll see how the edges of the shapes interact. There’s a push and pull, a dialogue between color and form. I think of artists like Carmen Herrera or Ellsworth Kelly, who were also playing with geometry and color in radical ways. Ultimately, this piece is about seeing. It’s an invitation to look, to question, and to find your own meaning within its clean, crisp lines.
