The intertwined "L" undoubtedly refers to Louis XVIII. Wreaths were a nod to victory, or perhaps aspiration toward triumph. You see, objects like this become silent storytellers; each detail meticulously crafted to convey layers of meaning and bolster morale. Isn’t that wonderful?
