This is Lidy Prati’s Vibración al infinito, and it's got all these squares—like a color chart escaped and started to dance. I imagine Prati, brush in hand, marking out each square with a steady but human touch. There's a pulse to it, a kind of back-and-forth, where she’s deciding between control and letting go. The pale, milky ground pushes these geometric shapes forward. It's like she's arranging colors, seeing how they buzz against each other. Look at that one red square! It makes all the others sing. She's got a thing for geometry. It reminds me of work by Piet Mondrian. Artists are magpies, always borrowing shiny bits from each other! Prati plays with order, but she’s not afraid to mess it up a little, which makes the whole thing breathe. Ultimately, Prati's squares invite us into a game of perception. We get to feel the energy of the painting, the "vibration" she’s talking about, and find our own rhythm within it.
