"Allegory of Prosperity" is a stained glass window by the Polish artist Józef Mehoffer. The work features three panels, each depicting a scene of prosperity. The central panel features a large, ornate jewel, with two figures either side. Above the jewel, there is an inscription: "Sua Quisque Faber Fortuna" - "Each Man is the Architect of His Own Fortune". The inscription is a Latin proverb about the power of self-reliance, fitting for an artwork that celebrates the idea of prosperity. Mehoffer's use of vibrant colors and intricate details create a striking and memorable image, typical of the Art Nouveau style that he helped to popularize.
