Editor: This is Gerd Winner's "Free Trade Wharf," currently held at the Tate. The sharp angles and almost oppressive facade give me the feeling of a city holding its breath. What strikes you most about it? Curator: It’s funny you say that, I see that breath held too, almost like the building itself is contemplating the weight of its own history. The bold red accents feel like lingering embers, don't they? Do you think they represent a vibrant past or a warning sign? Editor: Maybe both? It's a little unsettling, but I like the tension. Curator: Exactly! The artist's captured a stillness that speaks volumes, a quiet story that shifts with each viewing. I’ll keep that in mind. Editor: Me too.
