"To figurstudier. Øverst en siddende kvinde som iagttager et barn ved en dør; nederst en kvinde med et barn ved klaveret" is a pencil drawing on paper by Danish artist Joakim Skovgaard (1856-1933) created in 1923. The work consists of two sketches, one depicting a woman watching a child by a door, and the other showing a woman sitting at a piano with a child. The sketches showcase Skovgaard's ability to capture everyday moments with delicate linework and subtle shading. The intimate and familial subject matter, along with the artist's stylistic choices, exemplifies the artistic trends of early 20th-century Danish art. The drawing is currently housed in the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst.
