"Arm Defenses" is a pair of steel arm defenses, possibly for a knight, created by Domenico Negroli in the early 16th century. These defenses are a prime example of Italian Renaissance craftsmanship and the high level of skill that went into the production of armor. They are currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The piece is a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship of the era, as well as the importance of protection in combat during the late medieval period.
