Panel 1000 - 1476

This "Panel" was created by the Lambayeque culture between 1000 and 1476. It features a textile panel with stylized floral motifs, geometric patterns, and possibly anthropomorphic figures. The use of vibrant colors and intricate details showcases the skilled craftsmanship of the Lambayeque culture. This textile provides insight into their aesthetic preferences and the importance of textiles in their society, a unique example of ancient Peruvian textile arts. The panel can now be viewed at the Art Institute of Chicago.
