This 16th-century woodcut, created by an anonymous artist, depicts a man and his wife with their two children. The father, who holds a branch with leaves, stands to the left of the image, while the mother holds one child and another sits in her lap. Two cherubs, one holding a lamb, are depicted on either side of the family. The artwork, titled "Kenan met zijn vrouw en kinderen" (Kenan with his wife and children) showcases the traditional imagery of the family, emphasizing the importance of family life in the period. The artwork is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
