"Slapende vrouw met putto" (Sleeping Woman with a Putto) is an etching by Dutch artist Cornelis Bloemaert (1603-1684). This piece, created sometime between 1636 and 1647, depicts a woman reclining on a bed, with a putto, or winged cherub, hovering over her head. The etching’s detailed lines and shading evoke the idealized beauty of the Renaissance, a period of artistic influence on Bloemaert's work. This etching is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
