This 18th-century engraving, created by an anonymous artist, depicts the coats of arms of Willem II, Prince of Orange, and his wife Maria Henrietta Stuart. Willem II was the Stadholder of the Dutch Republic, and he is shown with the arms of the House of Orange-Nassau. Maria Henrietta Stuart was a daughter of Charles I of England, and her arms are shown with the symbols of the House of Stuart, including the harp, a prominent symbol of Ireland. The engraving provides biographical information about both figures in German, including their birth and death dates. The artwork is currently housed at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
