Practical, of course, designed to carry precious goods across the dunes, but utterly transformed into a visual poem. It's a perfect intersection of necessity and beauty, don’t you think? Knowing the Tuareg, a deeply symbolic culture, every line, every knot, would hum with intention. Think of it as their language woven into the fabric. Even the color choices aren’t arbitrary, each evoking certain elements and ideals within the culture. What elements jump out at you? Editor: Well, the central square draws my eye—with the nested geometric patterns of red, black and white—which reminds me of certain landscapes that could symbolize places where they travel. The repeated circle shape feels also important. What do you think? Curator: You've touched upon the very soul of it! Circles symbolize protection, cycles of life, a reminder that even in a seemingly barren desert, there is an infinite abundance.
