Christian Eckart made this piece, Hexagonal Perturbation #6, and right away, I'm drawn to the methodical approach, a kind of colour-and-geometry-as-process situation. Look at how the light catches the surface, playing up the physical depth. The colours—a mix of lilacs, and deep purples—are layered within each triangle, creating this shifting, almost holographic effect. The surface isn't flat, but a series of precise, angled planes, it's as if the artist has gone full origami on it. It makes me think about how shapes, even simple ones, can create such a dynamic, engaging visual experience. It reminds me a little of Sol LeWitt, but with a softer, dreamier edge. It's about the conversation between what we know and what we feel, and how art is always asking us to see the world a little differently.
