"Dis donc, Bichette... a quoi songes-tu donc...?" (So tell me, Bichette... what are you dreaming about?) is a lithograph from 1844 by Honoré Daumier. This satirical print depicts a woman in a nightgown holding a lit candle and sneaking out of a room, where a man lies in bed. Daumier is known for his social commentary in his works, which often targeted the French upper class. This print uses dark humor and social satire to critique the behavior of the upper class. "Les Bas-Bleus" was a Parisian social group in the 19th century. This print is a part of a series of lithographs with the same title, all focusing on the social satire of Parisian life.
