Edwin Georgi created this magazine cover, A Fiesta of Love, using oil paint. And I can imagine him, brush in hand, as he coaxes the image into being. The woman’s gaze drifts away, maybe she’s thinking of a lover, maybe she’s just daydreaming. The paint is applied in loose strokes.
