Giuseppe Canale's "Christ appearing to Mary Magdalen(?)" is a black and white etching depicting a scene of Christ appearing to Mary Magdalen. The etching depicts a seated Christ and Mary Magdalen in conversation, in a landscape setting. The print was created sometime between 1740 and 1802, near the end of the artist’s lifetime. "Christ appearing to Mary Magdalen(?)" is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
