This is Delizy's view of the city walls of Dinan, wherever and whenever it was taken, with whatever photographic tools they had back then. It feels like an honest attempt to capture a place, right? I imagine Delizy standing there, trying to frame the scene, thinking about light and shadow, and how to convey the feeling of this walled city. The sepia tone gives it a timeless quality, like a memory fading into the past. You can almost feel the weight of the stones and the history they hold. It makes me think about how artists, even photographers, are always trying to make sense of the world around them, and how each attempt is just a snapshot in an ongoing conversation. We look at the world, we transform it, and we pass it on.
