This small, circular bronze medal, dating from 1690-1697, is a guild medal of the Kuipersgilde (Coopers’ Guild) of Vlissingen, Netherlands. The obverse depicts a goblet with a crown on top and the date "A° 1690 20 JULY". The reverse features a stylized representation of cooper's tools, including a hammer, anvil, and a crown, surrounded by the guild's motto "Vlissinger Koopersgilde Eliassen den I. Cap'l Bastiaen van Rijn". Guild medals were often used as membership badges or awards, and this one provides a glimpse into the history of the coopers' guild in Vlissingen.
