"Schaapherder met zijn kudde" (Shepherd with his flock) is an etching by Jan Matthias Cok, a Dutch artist active in the 18th century. Created between 1735 and 1771, the artwork depicts a shepherd tending to his flock of sheep and goats by a trough. The composition, executed in a realistic style, showcases Cok's skill in capturing the details of rural life. The print's small size (95 mm x 133 mm) makes it an intimate glimpse into a daily scene, highlighting the importance of livestock in 18th-century Dutch society. It is currently housed at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
