Olafur Eliasson made this light installation, Colour space embracer, and it’s a real trip! He uses light and shadow like paint, creating this totally immersive experience. It’s not just about seeing; it’s about feeling the space around you shift and change. The way the light hits the walls—so precise and yet so ethereal—it reminds me of some kinda cosmic event. The coloured lines kinda vibrate, as if the room itself is breathing. The darkness really lets you focus on the light, each ray a physical presence. And that lamp sitting there kinda brazenly? That’s the twist, you know? Eliasson is saying, “Here’s the trick. It’s not magic, it’s process.” Makes me think of James Turrell, playing with perception, or maybe even some of those Land Artists, messing with nature in real time. It’s all about showing you how you see, not just what you see. And that’s what makes art, art!
