Curator: My first thought is that this is what peace must look like. Editor: It's true; there’s a meditative quality. We’re looking at an untitled work by Sol LeWitt, held in the Tate Collections. It's a square image, roughly 35cm by 35cm, filled with densely packed lines. Curator: An ordered chaos of blues and greens. It's almost a textile, a woven map of the subconscious. Do you think the lack of title contributes to its enigmatic feel? Editor: Absolutely. Without a prescribed narrative, the repetitive lines become a symbolic language. They evoke everything from growth patterns to the interconnectedness of systems, leaving it open to the viewer's own interpretation. Curator: Funny, because when I look at it again, all I can think about is the dedication it must have required to make this. Editor: I agree. It’s an exercise in discipline. A beautiful one at that. Curator: Yes, a beautiful meditation.
