Esteban Frances created this chaotic landscape, swirling with symbols of creation and destruction. Dominating the canvas are the all-seeing eyes, reminiscent of ancient Egyptian art, which embody vigilance and knowledge. These eyes, which observe humanity, recur through epochs. They're found in the watchful gaze of Byzantine icons or even in the modern surveillance state. Frances uses these symbols to tap into primal fears and anxieties, connecting with our deepest, often subconscious, feelings about being observed.
