Gul 

This is an example of Ebru, or paper marbling, by Mustafa Duzgunman. The process involves floating pigments on a treated water bath and then transferring the image to paper. The green background is a classic marble pattern, formed by manipulating the pigments with combs or styluses before the paper is laid down. But what really sets Ebru apart is the way it combines chance and control. The artist has to be extremely skilled to direct the flow of the colors, yet there is always an element of unpredictability.
