Here is Delizy’s photographic view of Pointe du Raz. The subtle monochromatic tones evoke a sense of calm, yet the composition hints at something wilder: crashing waves and rocky outcrops. I wonder what Delizy was thinking, standing there, camera in hand? It’s as if they were trying to capture the transient, almost impossible task. A reminder that the ocean is always moving, always changing. It makes me think about how we, as artists, are always trying to catch something elusive, something that slips through our fingers even as we grasp it. The photograph seems to capture the essence of a specific moment, yet also suggests the timelessness of the sea, so much so that it reminds me of other photographs of seascapes. It is as if all of us are participating in a visual conversation with each other, and with time.
