Antonio Corpora made *Uno spazio nuovo* using paint and intuition. It looks like he flicked, dripped, and brushed vivid strokes of blues, greens, and reds onto the canvas. I can imagine Corpora in his studio, maybe Italy, deeply absorbed, moving around the canvas as he worked. The blue streaks feel like a downpour, or maybe tears? The green cuts across like fresh grass, with the red marks almost like blood, or raw feeling. It’s all so instinctive, like he’s letting his emotions out right there on the canvas. It kinda reminds me of Joan Mitchell, or maybe even Twombly, but with its own distinct, raw energy. These artists, they're all in a conversation, aren’t they? Each one builds on what the others have done. Ultimately, painting is such an intimate, embodied thing. You can really feel Corpora’s presence, his emotional state, through the gestures he’s made. There’s no one right way to read it. It is about feeling.
