This small plate, created by E. Blancheron around 1790-1800, features the coat of arms of Hendrik Peter Godfried Quack and Isabella Gertraud von Carnap. The white porcelain plate is decorated with a gold border of stylized lily of the valley branches, encircling a central coat of arms depicted in gold. This decorative plate, now housed at the Rijksmuseum, is a beautiful example of the use of heraldry in decorative arts during the late 18th century, showcasing the craftsmanship and prestige associated with the couple it represents.
