Robert Frank made this contact sheet, "Weekend at Uribe's house 1," but the date is unknown. The whole thing feels like a day in the life, or maybe just a moment, captured in a way that's both intimate and detached. Look at how Frank frames each shot—there's a rawness, an immediacy. The textures are right there. There's a real sense of life unfolding, unposed. The way these frames are laid out, it's almost like a storyboard, a narrative pieced together from fragments. The central image shows two women eating. It really draws you in, doesn’t it? You're right there with them. And the chaos in the other photos feels almost like an extension of that intimacy, like seeing behind the scenes. I can’t help but think about the work of Nan Goldin. Both Frank and Goldin have this incredible ability to capture the fleeting moments of life. It really reminds me that art's not about answers; it's about exploring the questions.
