This "Vase" was created by the Mount Washington Glass Company between 1883 and 1894. The piece is a beautiful example of American pressed glass, featuring a pink and yellow color gradient and floral motifs. The vase is a great example of the use of gold leaf and intricate floral patterns characteristic of American glassmaking during the late 19th century. It currently resides in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
