"Viola" is a 18th-century string instrument created by Robert Horne, a maker from London. It is currently housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The instrument is constructed of wood with a rich brown varnish and features a classic violin design with a slender neck, a rounded body, and four strings. It stands at a height of 16 7/16 inches (41.8 centimeters). This viola provides a glimpse into the craftsmanship and artistry of instrument makers during the 18th century.
