This inkstone, titled "Feasting on Antiquities Hall," was created by Jian Guzhai sometime between 1871 and 1933. The inkstone is made of black stone, and the design is carved in relief. The central motif is two dragons that are intertwined and are framed by clouds. Chinese inkstones, like this one, are often used to grind ink sticks into a paste that is then used for calligraphy and painting. This inkstone is currently located in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
