Consider how the light catches the fabric and the polished surfaces. These gradations of tone emphasize the material qualities and suggest a meticulously arranged space. Let's also note the column; do you observe how this architectural element further enhances the formality? Editor: Yes, it gives the photograph a kind of classical feel, setting up vertical lines, and that strong contrast on the fluting definitely adds to the picture.
