Autumn Suite C 1970

"Autumn Suite C" is a 1970 work by American artist Conrad Marca-Relli (1913-2000). This abstract print features a unique combination of organic forms and geometric elements. The simple shapes are constructed from shades of gray, white and black. The textured, irregular form in the center of the composition adds a dynamic element to the otherwise minimal composition. The work’s bold, simple shapes, and cool color palette are reminiscent of mid-20th century Abstract Expressionism.
