This vibrant textile, titled "Skirt," is a traditional piece of clothing from the Maa people, created sometime in the mid-20th century. The skirt is a rectangular piece of fabric with a repeating geometric pattern woven into its surface. The dominant colors are a bright red, yellow, green, and blue, which stand out against a dark brown background. The skirt is currently part of the Minneapolis Institute of Art's collection.
