"Hyrdedrengen" (The Shepherd Boy), created in 1846 by Adolph Kittendorff, is a charming black and white print. Part of a series of 25 illustrations for children, it depicts a sleeping shepherd boy with his dog and three goats. The scene is simple and peaceful, evoking a sense of rural life and childhood innocence. This small-scale artwork, measuring just 205 mm in height and 130 mm in width, is a fine example of Danish art from the mid-19th century. It is currently housed at the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst.
