Editor: Here we have Julian Trevelyan's "Spinnakers." I find its bold, almost childlike shapes and the slightly unsettling atmosphere really captivating. What do you see in this piece? Curator: Trevelyan often blended reality and dream, didn't he? For me, the print evokes a sense of playful yet slightly ominous adventure. The choppy sea and the striped sails—are they signals, warnings, or simply joyous bursts of colour? I wonder! Editor: It does feel like something is lurking just beneath the surface. Thanks, that’s really insightful. Curator: Isn't it wonderful how a simple image can stir such depths? It makes you want to set sail!
