Editor: Here we have Martin Kippenberger’s "Struggle against the Bedsores.” It's… striking, to say the least. The yellow background contrasts intensely with the monochrome figure. What's your take on this piece? Curator: Kippenberger, ever the provocateur, right? The title is ironic, considering the energy of the runner. Perhaps it's about the absurd struggle of existence itself, that perpetual motion against inevitable decay? It’s a raw, almost punk-like energy that gets to me. Do you feel that? Editor: I do! But the arrows on the side... are those some sort of sick joke? Curator: Maybe. Or they could be directions to somewhere we don't want to go. It is Kippenberger, after all. The beauty is in the questions, don't you think? Editor: Definitely food for thought. Thanks for shedding some light! Curator: My pleasure! Always a journey with Kippenberger.
