Kosice's 'Hydrospatial Cities' is a sculptural installation featuring suspended, transparent forms that seem to float in their deep blue surroundings. You know, it’s almost like a dreamscape, a city born of water and light. The acrylic material gives these shapes an ethereal quality, as if they’re not quite there, or maybe just visiting from another dimension. I’m drawn to the way Kosice uses clear and colored acrylic to play with light and space, blurring the line between sculpture and its environment. Look at the way the light catches and refracts through the translucent forms, casting ghostly shadows that dance across the blue walls. This work reminds me a bit of Buckminster Fuller's utopian visions, though Kosice gives it a uniquely poetic, almost otherworldly spin. It’s like he's imagining a future that's both technologically advanced and deeply connected to the natural world. It's a space of possibility, suggesting that art can open our minds to new ways of seeing, thinking, and experiencing the world.
