I am really drawn to the way Ángeles uses the medium of watercolor; the paint bleeds and blends, creating soft edges and translucent layers. Look at the blue section at the bottom, it's like a pool of emotion. The way the colors run together suggests a process of allowing, of letting the medium guide the image, which is cool. See the lines creating the suggestion of bare trees? These are so delicate. There is a conversation going on here between control and accident, intention and intuition.
